Great victory by the Old Abes in Superior, albeit wow, what a cold and damp day to play.

While it was over 80 in Eau Claire, it dropped to mid to lower 40s next to the big pond. 

While the game was very close and full of tension from start to finish, Memorial was in the lead for most of the game and never more than two points behind.

The team held when they needed to and worked well together. The Old Abes delivered the goods in fine fashion on a well executed plan, leaving the Spartans empty handed and unable to deliver at key moments.
